Roanoke, VA | Online Therapy Across Virginia
My specialization is relationships. The people and connections in our lives are always with us, influencing how we think and the decisions we make. That is why I take a relational approach to my work.
As a therapist, I get to see individuals and relationships grow and I grow alongside them. The challenges and successes I witness change me and inform the work I do with others. That's why I value balancing both helping others with my personal life. It’s not always easy, but it’s deeply rewarding.
Feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or struggling with relationships can be some of the many reasons people seek therapy.
Goals, challenges, or the sudden or long term nature of individual or relationship problems can influence the length of therapy. Clients always have the option to end their counseling sessions at any time.
No. I do not offer in-person counseling sessions. Virtual sessions are available by phone, tablet, or computer.
Studies in JAMA Psychiatry and The Lancet have shown that online therapy can be just as effective as in-person therapy.
Yes. I accept most major insurance providers including, but not limited to, Anthem Blue Cross, Aetna, United Behavioral Health, Optima / Sentara, and Cigna health plans. For a complete list visit my Insurance & Fees page or check below.
It can be a difficult and courageous decision to seek counseling. I understand that when people contact me they are ready to change.
You can find happiness again in your relationships with others.
